Rentalk50 is a vehicle rental company, both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, made up of professionals from the sector. It is part of the Grup Pons automobile group in Tarragona.
With a minimum of 24 hours in advance, although we recommend making the reservation as long as possible in order to benefit from possible discounts or promotions.
Rentalk50 includes in the final price all rental charges, including the extras you have selected, there are no unexpected surprises.
You can pay for your reservation with the following forms of payment. Visa, Masterdcard, American express and Diners club.
You can pay only on our website with any debit card in your name, (never prepaid or for exclusive electronic use) but you must bear in mind that, you will be asked to show this card at the time of removal of the vehicle and you must present another card, this will be obligatorily credit, to proceed to the security blocking as a deposit.
If I pay with a debit card on the web, will the rental be denied if it is not in my name or if I do not provide a credit card when picking up the car? In either case, Rentalk50 will not be able to deliver the vehicle to you due to non-compliance with the general contracting conditions.
If you have generated a reservation paid with a debit card, and at the time of delivery you do not present the credit card, RentalK50 may not return the total amount paid based on the damages that it has caused. It must be borne in mind that reserving a car prevents other users from accessing this vehicle, thereby causing damage to the company.
You can cancel the reservation up to 48 hours before its collection without prejudice, by sending an email to reservas@rentalk50.com or by showing up at one of our offices. For security reasons and lack of identification, reservations generated on the Web cannot be canceled by phone.
You may cancel the reservation by the same means detailed above up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. RENTALK50 will not proceed to the payment of any total or partially prepaid amount, if the cancellation is made within 48 hours prior to the date and time of your reservation.
Help drivers
You must be at least 21 years old or 23 years old for vehicles of higher categories, possess the license with an antiquity of more than 2 years.
I am a foreigner, what documents do I have to present? If you are a citizen of the European Union or the European Economic Area, you will not need a passport, only with your ID and a valid driving license in Spain or International Card.
Rentalk50 will charge you for the amount of missing fuel (calculated in eighths of the deposit) taking into account the average price on the day of departure. This price is updated weekly in our system, and is based on the reference price that is published weekly in the BOE The cost of the refueling service will be for the year 2021, € 23.00 plus VAT 21%, which must be added to the final amount to be paid as a refueling charge.
All our vehicles are delivered full as a general rule, except for LPG gas charges in our hybrid cars, these are delivered full of gasoline, but the use of LPG is subject to the customer’s decision. In any case, no amount is paid if you return one of our Gasoline / LPG hybrid cars with the gas tank fully or partially filled.
The owner of the rental contract is obliged to always correspond with the payment of the established amount imposed by the Sanctioning Body, or to the redemption of points of the card that is imposed.
We recommend making the payment if applicable at the time of the complaint, as this will reduce future expenses that may arise. If the complaint is received by Rentalk50, we will transfer it to our Fines Management department so that it can proceed to identify the driver.
Rentalk50 is obliged to identify the main driver of the contract, this management can be carried out through an external company, the management of each identification involves a minute that Rentalk50 will charge directly to the driver, through the credit card that he presented at the time of the collection of the vehicle.
The charge is for identification, since a contract can present several complaints. The amount established for the minutes of this management is € 42.35 VAT included for the years 2019 and 2020.
In those cases where the contract reflects one or more additional drivers, Rentalk50 will contact the main driver, who must confirm the name of the driver who was driving the vehicle at the time of the complaint. The credibility of the information rests directly with the main driver, Rentalk50 will not assume any responsibility for the veracity of this information.
